Conducted Alumni Get Together of Diploma for 2016-17 & 2017-18 pass out batches on 25th March 2023 at RIT, Rajaramnagar.

Year 2021-22

• ONLINE ALUMNI MEET OF DIPLOMA 2021 Wednesday, 25th August 2021 at 10:30 AM Platform: MS Teams

Alumni Meet of Diploma (2019-20 and 2020-21 Pass out batch) along with their seniors was organized at R.I.T., Rajaramnagar on Wednesday, 25th Aug 2021 through online MS Teams Platform. Hon. Dr. L. M. Jugulkar, Dean, Student Development, Dr. S. M. Sawant, Professor Incharge-Alumni, Dr. H. S. Jadhav, Dean Diploma graced this gathering. Meet started with the welcome of all alumni and Guests by Mr. M. S. Yadav, Diploma Alumni Incharge. Also he gave brief information about Alumni Association and expressed objectives and purpose of Alumni Association. He made an appeal to the present alumni to contribute voluntarily in the development of the institute.  

 Dr. H. S. Jadhav, Dean Diploma addressed the gathering with words on the development of the Diploma in last 07 years. He shared recent achievements of Diploma like rankings in various surveys, Excellent remark to all branches by MSBTE with engineering exploration & products developed by students under engineering practices in first year, professional skill development courses in second year, aptitude training in final year. He also discussed about the new MSBTE “I” Scheme curriculum which has been implemented in 2017-18 academic year.     

Dr. L. M. Jugulkar highlighted the growth of RIT Alumni Association and how it is playing a vital role in the development of the institute. He also informed the audience how the alumni of RIT have been successfully getting placed in key positions in the professional world. He gave information about RIT Alumni Portal and also explained process of registration of alumni on website.

 Prof. M. M. Mirza, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Department, RIT, addressed the gathering with appealing to be joining with LinkedIn and get connected with RIT Alumni Association Hub (RAAH) .He gave information about  RAAH. He shared a link to connect with RAAH.

Later, the forum was kept open for alumni to express themselves Mr. Rajatkumar Pawar (Mechanical Engg. 2019 Batch), Mr.Shivam Mali (Civil Engg. 2020 Batch), Mr.Vivekanand Awatade (Automobile Engg. 2019 Batch),  Mr.Pravin Khatave (Electrical Engg. 2019 Batch), Mr.Mayuresh Jadhav (Mechanical Engg. 2020 Batch),   Mr.Shivraj Deshmukh (Civil Engg. 2019 Batch), Ms.Swarali Kadam (Electrical Engg. 2019 Batch), Mr.Ved Mandavgane  (Automobile Engg. 2019 Batch)  shared their memories during college days. Total 110+ participants were attended online alumni meet.

Prof. Amrut Kulkarni proposed the vote of thanks. He acknowledges all present alumni, faculty members, non-teaching staff, hostel staff, administrative staff and all other members, who were directly or indirectly involved in the success of this event.

Prof. Swapnil Patil, Prof. Mahesh Thorat, Prof. Amrut Kulkarni, Prof. Pravin Desai, have taken efforts in the successful execution of this online alumni meet.

Year 2020-21

• ALUMNI GET-TOGETHER OF DIPLOMA Mechanical 2020 Sunday, 19/07/2020

Department of Mechanical Engineering of Diploma wing has organized an Online RIT Diploma Mechanical Engineering Alumni Meet 2020 for 2017, 2018 & 2019 pass out batch on Sunday 19/07/2020 at 05:00 PM on zoom platform. More than 85 alumni were participated in the meet. Brief agenda of the meet was to interact with alumni, showcase the department activities and institutional growth, get the feedback of alumni for further progress and put forth the expectations from alumni.

The Alumni meet started with the welcome speech by Mr. S. H. Patil. Then Mr. V. B. Choudhari, head of the mechanical department shared Departmental activities and achievements, he also shared Institutional growth and participation of alumni in different activities like laboratory development, Internship, placement and Institute–Industry connect. Choudhari sir, further urged to alumni for support to boost RIT Diploma admissions. Interested alumni has put forth their views, shared their industry experience and express readiness to support students, department and institute in all possible way for its growth. Prof. J. J. Pharne gave vote of thanks.

• ALUMNI GET-TOGETHER OF DIPLOMA Automobile 2020 Sunday, 19/07/2020

Department of Automobile Engineering of Diploma wing has organized an Online RIT Diploma Automobile Engineering Alumni Meet 2020  for 2018 & 2019 pass out batch on Sunday 19/07/2020 at 06:00 PM on zoom platform. More than 24 alumni were participated in the meet.

Brief agenda of this meet was to interact with alumni, showcase the department activities and institutional growth, get the feedback of alumni for further progress and put forth the expectations from alumni.

The Alumni meet started with the welcome speech by Mr. M. J. Thorat. Departmental activities and achievements shared by Mr. R. S. Sargar, Head of the automobile department. Further he also shared Institutional growth and participation of alumni in different activities like laboratory development, Internship, placement and Institute–Industry connect. Lastly HOD sir, urged to alumni for support to boost RIT Diploma admissions. Interested alumni has put forth their views, shared their industry experience and express readiness to support students, department and institute in all possible way for its growth.

Department of Electrical Engineering of Diploma wing has organized an Online RIT Diploma Electrical Engineering Alumni Meet 2020 for 2018 & 2019 pass out batch on Sunday 12/07/2020 at 11:00 AM on zoom platform. More than 39 alumni were participated in the meet.

Brief agenda of these meets was to interact with alumni, showcase the department activities and institutional growth, get the feedback of alumni for further progress and put forth the expectations from alumni.

The Alumni meet started with the welcome speech by Mr. A. V. Kulkarni. Mr. Amit D. Nikam, Head of the electrical department shared Departmental activities and achievements, he also shared Institutional growth and participation of alumni in different activities like laboratory development, Internship, placement and Institute–Industry connect. HOD sir, further urged to alumni for support to boost RIT Diploma admissions. Interested alumni has put forth their views, shared their industry experience and express readiness to support students, department and institute in all possible way for its growth.

Department of Civil Engineering of Diploma wing has organized an Online RIT Diploma Civil Engineering Alumni Meet 2020 for 2017, 2018 & 2019 pass out batch on Sunday 19/07/2020 at 11:00 AM on zoom platform. More than 80 alumni were participated in the meet.

Further he also shared Institutional growth and participation of alumni in different activities like laboratory development, Internship, placement and Institute–Industry connect. Lastly HOD sir, urged to alumni for support to boost RIT Diploma admissions. Interested alumni has put forth their views, shared their industry experience and express readiness to support students, department and institute in all possible way for its growth.

Year 2019-20

• ALUMNI GET-TOGETHER OF DIPLOMA 2020 Saturday, 01^st February 2020

Alumni get together of Diploma (2019 Pass out batch) along with their seniors was organized at R.I.T., Rajaramnagar on Saturday, 01st February 2020. Hon. Dr. Mrs. Sushma Kulkarni, Director, RIT, Dr. L. M. Jugulkar, Dean, Student Development, Dr. S. M. Sawant, Professor Incharge-Alumni, Dr. H. S. Jadhav, Dean Diploma graced this gathering. Get-together started with the welcome of all alumni.

Dr. H. S. Jadhav, Dean Diploma addressed the gathering with a presentation on the development of the Diploma in last 04 years. He shared recent achievements of Diploma like rankings in various surveys, Excellent remark to all branches by MSBTE with engineering exploration & products developed by students under engineering practices in first year, professional skill development courses in second year, aptitude training in final year. He also discussed about the new MSBTE “I” Scheme curriculum which has been implemented in 2017-18 academic year.     

Dr. S. M. Sawant highlighted the growth of RIT Alumni Association and how it is playing a vital role in the development of the institute. He also informed the audience how the alumni of RIT have been successfully getting placed in key positions in the professional world. He made an appeal to the present alumni to contribute voluntarily in the development of the institute.   

Dr. Mrs. Sushma Kulkarni, Director RIT, addressed the gathering with how research culture developed in the institute and offers alumni to get connect with RIT to get benefit of this facility. She has given information about a new initiative of NETRA-RIT TBI and Incubates in NETRA. She motivated alumni to use RIT facilities for their development in future. She also asked alumni doing higher education to give feedback about the difference in difference between studying in RIT and other institutes. 

Later, the forum was kept open for alumni to express themselves Mr. Vikrant Mulik (Electrical Engg. – 2018 Batch), Maintenance Engineer, Kirloskar Brothers Ltd, Pune. He shared how he learnt a lot of lifelong learning skills such as leadership & other skills from RIT. This was followed by Ms. Amruta Walvekar (Civil Engg. – 2018 Batch), shared memories during college days, she also appreciated the learnings he got in RIT during academic tenure and how it is helping her in Higher Studies. Mr. Vikram Ingale (Electrical Engg. – 2018 Batch) suggested to encourage the students to pursue internships during the vacations and acquire necessary problem-solving skills. Ms. Saloni Patil (Electrical Engg. – 2019 Batch), suggested for Regular training & placement is imparted in the area of communication skill and aptitude to the students to make them employable. Mr. Indrajeet Joshi thanked institute for providing platform for research work. Mr. Sujit Shinde, Mr. Shubham Gaikwad, (Mechanical Engg. – 2018 Batch) shared memories during college days.

After alumni interaction session, A video clip (Glorious Moments in RIT') prepared by Alumni Cell consisting collection of the photos of the alumni from 2017 to 2019 batch was shown to take the alumni members down the memory lane. All the alumni enjoyed this video clip and revived their memories.

Prof. S. H. Patil proposed the vote of thanks. He acknowledges all present alumni, faculty members, non-teaching staff, hostel staff, administrative staff and all other members, who were directly or indirectly involved in the success of this event. The function was anchored by Mr. Rajatkumar Pawar & Ms. Manali kanase. After the end of function all the alumni members, faculty and guests gathered for a group photo at the entrance of the main building.

After lunch, all the alumni visited their respective departments. They discussed their thoughts with the respective head of department and faculty members. The alumni made this day a wonderful and memorable along with their batchmates.

Prof. Mahesh Thorat, Prof. Amrut Kulkarni, Prof. Kuldeep Mali, Prof. Pravin Desai, Mr. Aniruddha Patil, Mr. Hemant Patil, Mr. Sandeep Patil, Mr. Sameer Sadakale have taken efforts in the successful execution of this alumni get-together.
