It's my pleasure to introduce the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML). I have been working as the Assoc. professor and head of the department. Our department offers B. Tech. in CSE (AI&ML).  The department has a team of highly qualified, experienced, and energetic faculty members.  Motivated faculty members are always mentoring young minds to be globally competent. The aim of the department is to inculcate the culture of continuous learning in young minds and make them able to adapt to change in technology. The vision of every faculty member is to develop and improve creative thinking and analytical skills of the students. The academic plan of the department provides an opportunity for the students to learn the strong fundamental, advanced, research and entrepreneur courses of CS/IT domain.  The well-equipped computing infrastructure with high configuration computers, recent versions of the software is boosting our students' practical knowledge. To improve the programming skill and logical thinking of the student, in syllabus all theory courses have practical sessions with more on the project-based study. Our department faculty use activity-based teaching and evaluation methods in all theory and lab courses. Using these methods, we are providing an opportunity for the students to learn by doing.  
The Department and college has active MOUs with reputed organizations like Redhat, TCS, Infosys, Aneka Cloud, KPIT, etc.  The Department has collaborated with various industries for student and faculty training, industry-sponsored projects, and internships. Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science are major research areas wherein the department strives to make significant contribution.
