Programs

The B. Tech. program in Mechatronics Engineering is an interdisciplinary program that focuses on integrating knowledge from Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Control Engineering. Its applications span a wide range, from intelligent manufacturing to computer-based mechanical systems. This program equips students with the skills necessary to design, build, and operate factory production lines and automated processes. Given that Mechatronics combines multiple disciplines, graduates in this field have numerous opportunities in Mechanical, Electronics, and computing-related industries. The Mechatronics Engineering program was established in 2020 and offers an undergraduate program (B. Tech.) with an enrolment capacity of 60 students. The department features well-equipped laboratories with cutting-edge equipment, including PLC systems from various manufacturers and robots. Furthermore, the department is in the process of transforming these labs into Industry 4.0-ready facilities.
