2. Faculty Development Program on Smart Manufacturing.

 

No. of Participants – 22 Participants – Teaching & Non Teaching Faculties.
Category of Participants: Engineering Students. Training Hours:- 06 hours.

Training Details:-

This FDP was organized for faculties from various engineering streams like mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science engineering etc. Expert Lectures on advanced technologies. Industry Revolution 4.0, Industry Revolution 5.0, the concept of reverse engineering, 3D printing techniques, smart Manufacturing, and additive Manufacturing were conducted. Also, everyday hands-on sessions were conducted on the 3D scanner, Laser cutting machine, CNC wood router, 3D printer, Basic Arduino Programming.

3. Basics of Arduino and its applications.

Category of Participants: Diploma Students. Training Hours:- 07 hours.

Training Details:-

Sessions conducted on Basics of Arduino, introduction to electronic components, TinkerCad simulation. Participants performed Hands-on training on TinkerCad, introduction of Arduino, interfacing of Arduino with different sensors, Basic programming of Arduino, Arduino interfacing & controlling. Tasks were allotted to participants such as Traffic Light Control, Distance Measurement, LCD interfacing, etc

4. Advance Manufacturing(Professional Skilling Program).

Category of Participants: Students of ITI Institutes. Training Hours:- 04 hours.

5. Applications of Arduino, 3D Printing & Laser cutting.

Category of Participants: School Students. Training Hours:- 06 hours.

Training Details:-

Day 1: - Sessions conducted on Introduction Architecture, Features, "C" and Arduino programming. Hello world programs of Arduino. Conditional statements, Functions, pointers in C, Interfacing of LEDs, IR sensor, relays & switches and programming using Arduino. Students were kits to given hands-on training of Arduino board, LED, IR sensors, relays etc. Session on Introduction to 3D printing and applications, application and working of 3D printers.

6. Skilling Program (School Teachers Awareness).

7. Advanced Surveying Techniques using Drone, Total Station and DGPS Technology.

Training Details:-

Sessions conducted on the process of advanced surveying technology by using “Total station”, drone technology, data collection process with GPS system and rover machine, DGPS, GPR and Hydrological surveying (echo sounder) technology.

8. Data Analytics for Problem Solving.

Category of Participants: Engineering Students. Total Training Hours : 06Hrs daily.

Workshop Details:-

Informative sessions about data, data types and data analytics life cycle, different data analytics tools and hands-on session was taken using Weka tool, Exploratory data analysis and students performed data visualization implementations using Tableau Tool, Introduction to the Big Data Concepts, HDFS and Big Data Analytics, hands on experience with Hadoop Installation and configuration, sample program execution using the Map Reduce Programming, Big Data- Hive Platform, HiveQL basics followed by the hands-on implementation of HiveQL. The third session was conducted based on the HBase installation and configuration, introduction to the Pig, Pig configuration and usage demonstration, ZooKeeper configuration and the sample program implementation, led programming session based on Spark Application preparation and programming.

9. Hands-on Training Program on Fibre Laser Cutting Machine.

Category of Participants: Technical Staff. Total Training Hours : 05Hrs daily.

Training Details:-

Introduction to the of Laser Cutting Machine. Different parts and components of Laser Cutting were explained with there working. Safety measures were explained which needs to be considered while operatiing the machine, Mounting of metal sheets, machine breakdown measures, Introduction to NC Studio software used for design and to operate the machine. Hands-on sessions.
